Materials
- Plastic animals, animal stickers, or pictures of animals
- Pictures of habitats ie. forest, desert, arctic, ocean
- Basket or container

Preparation
- Gather a variety of animals (photo or objects).
- Place photos of habitats in a row (2-6).
- Place the animals in a basket or container.
Extensions:
Reduce the number of habitats or the number of animals required to complete the task.
Increase the number of habitats or the number of animals required to complete the task. Sort animals by various classes (ex. carnivore, herbivore, omnivore, or mammals, reptiles, amphibians, birds, insects etc.).
