  • Egg carton for sorting

Preparation

  • Create a checklist of easily located items in your outdoor area

Verbal Prompts

Let’s collect and sort some things from outside!
First, let’s get an egg carton or ice cube tray to hold our collection.
Next, look for things such as pebbles, leaves or flowers to put in the container.
Then, follow the sorting rule by matching the items to the same type of items.
Then, count the items.
Finished! You can count and sort items.
Time to put our things away!
